Elias has really started to crack us up with some of his newest sayings. Here are a few of his most used lines:
"That is dangerous. You cannot play with it." (He then takes said object and puts it out of my reach.)
"I will be riiiiiiiiiiiiight back!"
"There is no poopoo in there!"
"My tummy hurts. Ask Jesus to make it better."
When Elias prays you have to repeat everything he says. Here is his prayer from last night:
Elias: "Thank you God for my daddy."
Me: "Thank you for my daddy."
Elias: "For mommy"
Me: "For mommy"
Elias: "For my booger on the wall."
Me: "For my....what? Booger on the wall."
Elias: "Yes, booger on the wall."
He then points to the wall right beside him and sure enough there is a huge, dried booger on the wall! Apparently he had needed a place to dispose of it. It was like trying to scrape green glue off the wall.
I will not quote what he said the other day when we were at Chili's with Danie. Let's just say that it is not a good idea to teach a 2 year old the correct names for male/female anatomy. (You would think I would have thought of this, but we had to tell him something when he asked!) He has not learned when to use discretion and what is appropriate "dinner talk".

Oh dear, yes, we don't use the proper names for anatomy because of things like that happening when Matt was a little boy. Yikes! LOL! And the booger thing, atleast he didn't eat it! Haha!
That is true Angie, at least he did not eat it. I am really starting to realize that the first kid really teaches you what to do/not to do with the rest of your kids! Now if only I can remember all of these lessons I've learned.
