Yesterday (day 3) was great! We spent most of the day at church, and he never had an accident there. We were only home about 4 hours the entire day and he napped for 3 of those. He actually did not even have an accident during his nap. It was amazing! However, late that night we were at Chili's and did not remember to take him to the potty. He had a little accident, but I really blame that one on us!
Today (day 4) was also great. We were out and about running errands and again he did not have any problems. He even stayed dry during his nap. Early in the afternoon I was putting away the groceries and he was in the backyard playing. All of a sudden he came running inside saying "I have to poopoo in the potty!" He sat down and did just that! I swear it brought tears to my eyes. The fact that he stopped what he was doing (actually being outside is his absolute favorite activity) and came in to potty was truly inspiring! I am so proud of that kiddo! We made it through the day with only one accident.
I will end things with something a little more interesting. Elias has a new best friend. He carries this squishy, green snake around EVERYWHERE he goes. He even sleeps with it! It's name is Snakey, and he is Elias' constant companion. I find it slightly disturbing that my child finds comfort from a snake, but I guess such is the life of a mom of a little boy! Here is a cute pic of Elias and Snakey.

congrats on potty training going well! guess he was just ready.
Haha, we have that same snake. I really should say HAD that snake until Alex put it inside his table lamp and left the lamp on, it melted to the lightbulb. LOL!
Yay for Elias! I know Alex will be so happy when he makes it upstairs with him. He always asks why Elias isn't upstairs with him and Samuel.
