Since it is Mother's Day I wanted to take the time to thank my mom for all that she has done and still does.
Thanks mom! You are truly wonderful. I am so thankful to have you in my life (and my children's lives). You gave up many years (at least 20 or 21 years I think) to stay home with all four of us. Thank you so much! I always remember you being a joyful presence in our home. I only hope that my boys will remember me the same way (although anyone who knows us both is aware that I am MUCH moodier than you!). Your love for the Lord and your love for your family has and does shine through. Thank you for always supporting me and being a wonderful example of a true mother. I can't wait to see you in a few weeks!

Laura, I love you and I am blessed by your thanks. But I did not "give up" 20 or so years to raise my children, those were cherished years and the investment was well worth it!! God is so good!
You are right about the words "give up". I also don't feel like I have given up anything at all! I should have used a different phrase!
